Satisfying my bread craving on Phase 1 of Ideal Protein®! Before my restart on Ideal Protein, I had been following a Paleo lifestyle with occasional bread cheats, I can not resist a Scolaris house sandwich! So on day 2 of my restart-which happened to also be the day my daughter was taunting me with her Scolaris house bread-I decided I was NOT going to cave but instead would try making garlic rolls with the potato mix. I usually made pancakes with the potato puree so rolls should be easy! BOY was it ever!
Not only were they easy to make, they were so good! So good that the next morning, with only 15 minutes before my husband had to leave the house I quickly made another batch to have his review-which was a rave review! (and he is a tough critic!) 1 packet potato puree
1/8 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp herb of choice
1 tsp garlic salt
2 egg whites
Preheat oven to 350*. Combine all dry ingredients. Whip egg whites until bubbly and add to dry mixture. Spray 4 muffin tin slots with olive oil. Spoon mixture into the 4 muffin tin slots, in the middle of muffin pan works best. Bake for 10 min. Enjoy!
