COVID-19 Update 12/2/2020
The COVID-19 epidemic continues to evolve by the day as Alameda County has now entered the purple tier (Tier 1). As your healthcare providers, we believe that we must do our part to slow the spread of the virus while we continue to serve you to the best of our abilities.
A few principles that you need to know
We have been strictly adhering to the CDC guidelines and we ask for your understanding as we take further precautions.
Please arrive promptly at your appointment time. If you are over five (5) minutes early or late, we will not be able to allow entry until we have verified capacity. We may ask you to wait in your vehicle until there is adequate space. We request that you arrive to your appointment alone and do not bring guests unless necessary. They will be asked to leave unless they are here to assist you due to a disability or someone is needed for language translation.
Please review the posted COVID screening questions before entering the treatment area. At each visit, a staff member will conduct a screening and check your temperature. We kindly ask that you wear a mask at all times, wash/sanitize your hands upon entry and throughout your visit, and keep as much distance as possible from others. Please notify us ahead of time if you feel ill and one of our doctors will contact you by phone. Do not come to the office if you have ANY symptoms.
Our sanitizing schedule has increased significantly and we continue to clean equipment in between patients and each shift-as we have since the beginning of the COVID crisis. In addition to dedicated HVAC systems in our Alameda location, we are proud to announce that we now have AirDoctor™ air purifiers in both locations! They have a state-of-the-art ULTRAHEPA™ filter and a dual action carbon/gas trap/VOC filter, making them 100x more effective than ordinary air purifiers. An Air Ionizer is also featured in each AirDoctor™, removing particulates and microbes. We are doing our best to ensure the best air filtration possible. We also will keep doors and windows open when weather permits.
We are available to you via text, email, and private appointments as an essential care facility. We will also continue to be available for weight-loss and nutritional advice to support your immune health. We are here to ensure that you will continue to get the quality care that you need and deserve during these trying times.
This is a critical time for all of us. We thank you for being such amazing members of our community. As we all continue to live our daily lives, let’s work together to protect and care for one another.
