Laura Navarrete and Emily Turrentine Complete CBP® Basic Certification Series in Eagle, Idaho

We’re thrilled to announce that two of our chiropractic interns, Laura Navarrete and Emily Turrentine, have completed the week-long Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®) Basic Certification Series at the CBP® Doctors Institute in Eagle, Idaho.
The intensive program was led by Dr. Deed Harrison, president of the Chiropractic BioPhysics® nonprofit and lead instructor of the course, alongside CBP® board members and instructors. The curriculum covered CBP® Basics, Drop Table Adjusting, and cervical, lumbar, and thoracic rehabilitation — 70 continuing education hours.
Laura is pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Cal State Sacramento, and is anticipating graduation in December 2026. Emily is a recent graduate of Life Chiropractic College West with a psychology degree from the University of San Francisco, and is currently awaiting her California chiropractic license.
While Dr. Cynthia Boyd, clinical director of Symmetry Health Center and Bay Area Scoliosis Center, has taught at this week-long event for the past ten years, she chose to stay home this year to help her sixth grader get acquainted with his new middle school — working in the clinic and helping with homework in between.
Both Laura and Emily are already applying what they learned in the clinic, and we’re proud to have them on the Symmetry team.
